Hello! I’m Kev Kairton – or Running Dad.
Doting dad, runner, technology enthusiast and now I’ve taken up a bit of writing with this blog.
I’m a bit average at running and at writing (blogging is new to me) so I have no amazing awards to brag about. I decided to create this blog to help keep myself motivated as I return to running.
Having recently taken a break from running to recover from minor surgery I have become fatter, slower and lost fitness so I need to put that right the only way I know how – to get my trainers back on!
I hope to share the honest experiences I have had getting into running in the first place. Progressing to races. What it can be like to juggle running, work, and a young family. The freedom and challenges of running with a buggy. Maybe write the odd review, lets just see where this blog goes.
I have enabled comments through Facebook so feel free to give me a your thoughts and feedback along the way.
